I Know It's Been Awhile

Sorry its been so long since I have posted any stuff of Rome. It doesn't feel like we have been here for this long! We went on a trip to michigan Rome's second plane ride what a mess that was our flight back was cancelled and had to stay an extra night. of course they tell you that for like 4 hours after you should have left. Rome can have full conversations now don't when he chooses to. He does tend to play shy in the beginning but when he feels comfortable with you he will talk your ear off. Still waiting for him to want to use the potty again. He wants nothing to do with it will just scream if you try and put him on it. He loves swimming been to the ocean a few times hes not so sure about the waves though.

Where Does the Time Go?

Rome had a busy week last week. Grandma came from VA to visit we went to the zoo for his first time and had a birthday. He really like the zoo the monkeys and the sting rays were his favorite he liked playing in the water. He also rode on a camel with grandma. He had a Spongebob theme party he loves balloons. He was so funny when we took the cake out he went to the drawer to get a fork to start eating it unlike most kids who just shove their face in it. Enjoy the pics!

Happy Holidays

I hope everyone had a merry Christmas and that the new year is better then the last. I think Rome had a really good day and got some sweet gifts. Everyone thinks I am crazy for getting him a drum set but if it will keep him out from in front of the tv I am all for it. After he unwrapped each present we had to take it out of the packaging before he would move on. He is getting so big and trying to talk more sometimes I think I am the only one who can understand him though. Enjoy the pics and videos.

Time Flies When You're Having Fun

Sorry everyone I didnt realize how much time has past since I last posted.  Things have been kind of crazy, but we are getting back to normal again whatever that is.  It seems like everyday now Rome says a new word.  He throws some tantrums now when he doesnt get his way, but he cant be perfect all the time terrible 2s already.  I wish I had more time to potty train him he hates wearing his diaper now he will take his pants off just to take off his diaper.  Here are some pics and a little movie of Rome playing at the splash pad.

Boy is it Hot!

  It has been really hot lately so Rome doesnt get to go outside and play too much.  We have taken him to the pool a couple of times and he is no longer afraid of the water.  He tries to climb in by his self and will jump to you.  When you hold him on his stomach he kicks his legs doesnt blow bubbles yet though.  He has been getting all four of his molars so he has been pretty grumpy and not sleeping well.  He is getting better with using utensils when he eats.  He has mastered climbing out of his crib so now he get to go to a big boy bed.  Next is trying to teach him to use the toilet and that should be fun.
