Happy Holidays

I hope everyone had a merry Christmas and that the new year is better then the last. I think Rome had a really good day and got some sweet gifts. Everyone thinks I am crazy for getting him a drum set but if it will keep him out from in front of the tv I am all for it. After he unwrapped each present we had to take it out of the packaging before he would move on. He is getting so big and trying to talk more sometimes I think I am the only one who can understand him though. Enjoy the pics and videos.

Time Flies When You're Having Fun

Sorry everyone I didnt realize how much time has past since I last posted.  Things have been kind of crazy, but we are getting back to normal again whatever that is.  It seems like everyday now Rome says a new word.  He throws some tantrums now when he doesnt get his way, but he cant be perfect all the time terrible 2s already.  I wish I had more time to potty train him he hates wearing his diaper now he will take his pants off just to take off his diaper.  Here are some pics and a little movie of Rome playing at the splash pad.

Boy is it Hot!

  It has been really hot lately so Rome doesnt get to go outside and play too much.  We have taken him to the pool a couple of times and he is no longer afraid of the water.  He tries to climb in by his self and will jump to you.  When you hold him on his stomach he kicks his legs doesnt blow bubbles yet though.  He has been getting all four of his molars so he has been pretty grumpy and not sleeping well.  He is getting better with using utensils when he eats.  He has mastered climbing out of his crib so now he get to go to a big boy bed.  Next is trying to teach him to use the toilet and that should be fun.

It has been pretty hot here so there is not too much outside play time.  Rome is doing well he loves to run around non stop.  I think he wants to help cook dinner but can reach.  His talking isnt too clear but he is adding to his vocabulary and turning into such a little person.  He loves it when everyone pays attention to him and being the entertainment.  I dont think he got a very good nap that day and decided to fall asleep during his snack.  Talk about a cool dude.  Arent those the coolest shoes you have ever seen?  Everywhere we go people comment on them hopefully he will be able to wear then for a while since I had to get them a little big since he has fat feet.  

Two Weeks Already

I didnt realize it has been so long since I posted last.  We are still trying to get settled in and I started working last weekend.  It doesnt pay great but it is something which is more then I had.  He climbed all the way up on the playground and slid down the blue slide by himself feet first on his stomach.  It was pretty funny and I dont know what he thought.  We went to an automatic car wash and he did not like that very much he started to cry when the water went over us because it was so loud.  He has two molars that has made their way through so that is 6 teeth on the top and I think the bottom two are working on it which would make four.  I dont hear from anyone so I hope things are well.

We Made It

Well we made it safely to AZ.  The drive was long, but Rome did very well being stuck in a car seat for 4 days.  Everyone is working on getting settled.  The first picture is of Rome helping pack his toys I think he would have rather been shipped with them.  Then we have him trying to driver already out if the whole play area that is all he wanted to do.  Third one moving got to be too much for him so he just napped.  Then is the first picture upon arrival to AZ.  I hope all is well for everyone and if anyone would like the address just email me.

Happy Moms Day

Happy mothers day to all the moms out there.  I hope everyone is doing well.  We are trying to get things packed.  Its hard deciding what to keep and what to toss but we cant take everything.  The diaper on his head is clean he has only taken his diaper off his self once at least so far.

News

Rome is doing great like usual.  He is non stop playing.  I took him to the playground and he went continuously for 2 hours.  I can understand him a little better even though other people cant.  I am so glad to have him in my life he is certainly an entertainer.  We are leaving VA to move to AZ the 21st.  There is so much to figure out in a short time.  Hope everyone is doing well.

Here are some pictures of an egg hunt we did with some of our new friends.  He is always surrounded by girls.  He really loved the bouncer he was the only little one who would stand and walk around.  He is into wearing hats right doesnt he look like a cool dude?

We're Back

We had a nice trip to Az so much that I have decided to move there.  I am trying to get the house sold first then Rome and I will hit the road.  He was really good on teh plane people actually complimented him.  He had to smile at everyone as he walked by.  I forgot to bring my camera so I dont have pictures of the trip.  Here is a little video of Rome dancing.  He has turned into a busy little guy he is constantly climbing on things.  Still waiting for him to say some more words he picks up the phone and says hi and things that sound like words but not sure he knows what he is saying.

It's Me Again

Hey everyone.  Next week we are taking our first trip and first flight so look for those pictures to come.  It should be fun.  There was snow earlier this week but we didnt get enough for him to go play in it at the house.  The weather has been nice the last couple days so he has been able to get outside a little he likes to kick around a ball.  He is still kind of little to actually play by himself on the playground but likes to run around with other kids.
